What is Link Building?
Link building is the process of getting as many people as possible to link to your web site. The more incoming links you have the more important your web site is. However, not all links are equal. The best incoming link is a link from a web site with a higher page rank than your web site.
Search engines automatically crawl the Internet and add links or listings to your web site. You can submit your web site to search engines. For example, you can submit your site to Google. Do not submit your site over and over to search engines.
Free links to your web site are often available if you hunt for them. There are usually local directories that will list your web site for free. Your church may have a business directory. The local chamber of commerce should offer a link to your web site. Trade affiliations and professional organizations that you belong to may also offer links. DMOZ.org is the largest web directory in the world and offers free links.

What is Social Networking
Social networking sites are the future of Internet marketing. The good news is that the opportunities for laser-targeted advertising are becoming a reality. Want to target 18-24 year old college graduate women who are engaged? Well, you can…in Facebook. The bad news is that, with this added power, comes much added complexity.
The traditional way of paying for clicks and optimizing links etc. for search engine optimization will not work in a world where the users generate the content…and decide amongst themselves what is popular and what is not. Internet marketers will have to become much more savvy to take advantage of this kind of opportunity. More good news is that there is still time to get an early adopter advantage in this space. It’s almost impossible to dislodge that web site that’s 8 or 9 years old from the number one spot in Google (I don’t care what anyone says they can do for thousands of dollars!) search engine listings, but…in this new arena…you could be that “old” site.
Some facts about social networking sites
MySpace had more traffic in 2007 than Google
Already, FaceBook has reached Google traffic levels
YouTube gets twice as much traffic as Google
These sites are DOUBLING every 6 months ; FaceBook adds 1 million visitors each week
In a typical month
30% of worldwide Internet users visit MySpace
29% visit FaceBook
35% visit YouTube
It’s not just kids discussing what they’re going to wear to the prom
Over 50% of MySpace users are over 35
Facebook even has 100k users over 64

Pay Per Click Advertising (PPC)
| Pay per click advertising consists of ads (when you do a Google search, they show up on the right hand side of the page) that are written by advertisers to be triggered when certain keywords or phrases are searched on. Each time a person clicks on the ad, they are sent to the advertiser’s website, and the advertiser is charged for that “click”.
Pay per click advertising can be a VERY profitable way to increase sales and leads (if done correctly).
Pay per click advertising needs to be a part of every business owners’ Internet advertising campaign. Unfortunately, managing even a small pay per click campaign can be complex and require very specialized knowledge and experience. There are several problems that the novice advertiser runs into.
Our services our designed to help you manage your pay per click campaign. Check out or strategy on how to dominate your market to see what we can do to use pay per click advertising to boost your profits today! |

What is Internet Marketing
Internet marketing is carrying out certain activities and do such things that generate sales and/or capture leads from potential customers that are surfing the Internet.
This means getting your website to rank in Google, Yahoo MSN, article directories, blog directories, RSS Feeds, Social Networks, and other search related sites so that it shows up when a potential customer of yours types in a “keyword phrase” that relates to your business.
This is something of a mysterious art these days and is a constantly changing playing field. As each year passes there is a greater need to hire specialists and consultants that work purely in this arena, in order for companies to be able to get their sites on the first page of Google’s search engine results for the keywords that everyone thinks will generate sales and leads. This service is called SEO or search engine optimization , or to arrange for their staff to participate in focused training seminars, or one on one training, to gain the necessary skills to do this work in-house
Internet marketing has grown to include pay per click advertising. Ads that are postioned within the results pages of search engines (when you do a Google search, they show up on the right hand side of the page) that are written by advertisers to be triggered when certain keywords or phrases are searched on. Each time a person clicks on the ad, they are sent to the advertiser’s website, and the advertiser is charged for that “click”. This is how Google makes billions of dollars.
The future of Internet marketing will be the social networking sites like Facebook. Here, the most efficient advertising will be “viral” and more “virtual word of mouth”. This is much more complex than search engine optimization and pay per click advertising, but has the potential to be much more profitable!

Search Engine Optimization
Search engine optimization refers to any efforts that are required to try and get your web site into the top rankings of Google (and others) search engine listing results when someone searches for your “keyword phrases”.
Everyone loves successful search engine optimization, because you can get lots of traffic…and…it’s free! The problem is, that no one really knows how Google decides where to rank your site and when it will show up. Any expert that tells you that they know exactly how Google’s ranking works and/or guarantees that you’ll get into the top spots (for a fee, of course), is being less than truthful. Even so, there are proven techniques that you can employ to get your site into the top of the listings. We believe in being very transparent about what we’re doing and why we’re doing it, so we’ll show you exactly what we’re doing, and why it helps to skyrocket you right to the top!
Business owners have big challenges when it comes to search engine optimization:
| Often, Google doesn’t even know their site exists (this is VERY common) | |
| Even if Google does know about their site, it never shows up in search engine listings. | |
| Even if their site does show up in some kind of search, it’s hardly ever the “keyword phrase” that the owner would like | |
| Even if the owner could dictate to Google what keywords to show the site for, most business owners don’t know which words and phrases are the money makers! |
All is not gloom and doom however! With a little help, you can start to overcome all of these issues. Check out our plan on How to dominate your market to see what we advise.

How to Dominate Your Market
| Understand your customers’ searching behavior. Walk in their shoes, and understand the dialogue the searcher is having with the web. Most customers are researching or looking for a problem to solve. If you understand what problem they’re trying to solve (keywords and phrases) you can provide them with a very customized solution to it (your landing page, website…and ultimately your product). | |||||||
| Decide how you will track conversions. Often this is easy…it’s when you make a sale. Other times it can be trickier. If you’re a real estate agent, you’ll most likely be tracking leads. In addition, you’ll have to assign some kind of dollar value to that lead so you can determine how much advertising to spend in order to get it. | |||||||
| Decide on autoresponders and set them up. Autoresponders are simply a way to keep in touch with your customers and prospects. Essentially it’s automated email. | |||||||
| Do the keyword research | |||||||
|
|||||||
| Group keywords by the conversation type (what is the potential customer looking for?) | |||||||
|
|||||||
| Build landing pages on your site for each conversation type | |||||||
|
|||||||
| Set up your own blog | |||||||
| Set up your adwords campaign using the keywords, groupings and landing pages | |||||||
| Monitor and test…EVERY DAY | |||||||
|
|||||||
| As soon as a great “money term” is found, start the search engine optimization process for that term | |||||||
|
|||||||
| Move great “money terms” to Yahoo and MSN pay per click advertising engines | |||||||
| Rinse and repeat this process every 90 days! |
