Our Business, Customers, and Services
Currently many Internet businesses are valued well below the levels seen in other industries. (we have recently purchased websites on a 3x multiple of monthly net revenue). This is primarily due to the immaturity of certain sectors of the Internet marketplace and the uncertainty of economies worldwide. This creates a fantastic opportunity to buy high yielding assets at very cheap prices. The other huge advantage that Internet businesses have over traditional businesses is its low cost of sales and significant automation of management systems. This creates businesses capable of having net yields as high as 80% of turnover.
With my contacts, I have access to quality deals on a regular basis and we are seeking to expand the operation by taking advantage of the many good deals that are coming our way.
We have invested funds and proven the concept, and are now seeking to scale up the operation with the assistance of further capital from an investor.
The business has:
- A number of existing established websites offering various services internationally.
- Contracted workers providing various services including web design, to copy writing, technical support personnel, promotions, and administrative duties.
- Joint Venture Partners providing programming services, product development etc
- An Affiliate Manger contracted to launch new products and build and manage affiliate sales teams
- 1600 affiliates selling various products
- An Internet marketer contracted to build, twitter and Facebook fan page lists.
Because of the nature of the Internet, we are able to hire workers from various geographical locations, taking advantage of significantly lower wages and fees, yet still maintaining a high quality of work.
The Business Model
The focus is on the acquisition of quality websites with established revenue that has the potential to be grown as is and/or expanded on with the addition of other marketing techniques.
We only buy websites that are already making good money, which have been for some time, that are highly automated, and that have potential to really grow! We will look at high traffic sites that do not yet have large earnings as a mean to drive business to other existing sites we own, but these will not make up more and 10% of our overall investment strategy.
Funding Requirement
We are seeking mezzanine finance to assist in the purchase of established websites, providing a minimum of 100% return per annum in the first 12 months. The sites are all well established, existing businesses and generate income from day one; they are also highly automated and have each been selling services and/or products for at least 1 year. We look for sites that also have the potential to grow through development of other market opportunities, many of these opportunities have a very low cost of entry i.e. email marketing to existing customer bases, many sites have not have been exploited by former owners in this manner and significant revenue is left unrealised as a result.
